Mark 10 Divorce in Light of Pentecost: God's Promise to be Kept

Podcast Powered By Podbean

Jesus just lays out the truth about divorce.
Tough facts about reality and the intent of our creator.
Jesus quotes Genesis because it's historical fact and relevant to how we view the world.

The point of today's sermon was the enduring nature of covenant and the quality of God's promises.
At Pentecost we reflect on the down payment of the Spirit toward the promised redemption...

God has betrothed us and we look forward to the wedding feast of the Lamb.
He is faithful to all His promises and we can depend on that.

Just as marriage is meant to be for a lifetime and we work through the trouble caused by sin,
Salvation is eternal and we face the trouble caused by sin.
God gets us through ;)
