Romans 1 "There's Good News and There's Bad News"
Part 1
There is good news and there is bad news
Part 2
Because of (faith in God's grace),
you freely, willingly and joyfully
do good to everyone, serve everyone, suffer all kinds of things,
love and praise the God who has shown you such grace.
Part 3
There is a bitter pill to take for the good result that one hopes for…
In order to receive this healing remedy, this life in place of death,
you would have to recognise you were sick in the first place.
Part 4
Those who refuse to be saved
in the way revealed by his mercy
must be consumed
in the way revealed by his justice." ~Adam Clarke
Part 5
The 'bad news' counts for every one of us:
That "the wrath of God is revealed from heaven
against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men,
who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth."
Part 6
The bad news is that the test has come back
and we all test positive for S.I.N.
The good news is that His mercy is available in Christ's death.
The good news is that His mercy is available in Christ's resurrection.
There is good news and there is bad news
